Clarification: Data Exchange Gateway File Has Changed

 

The Office of Retirement Services sent a communication on November 5, 2013 requesting employer action for the select group of members that were given an election for the 2012 MPSERS Retirement Reform. The member election file that was made available to you on the Data Exchange Gateway may have contained inaccurate information.

 

Please disregard the file that was uploaded November 5, 2013. An updated file has been made available on the Data Exchange Gateway effective today.

 

Please follow the instructions below to access the file.

 

DEG File Download Instructions:

1.    Use Internet Explorer.

2.    Go to https://dxgweb.state.mi.us.

3.    Log in.

4.    Available Msgs link will show all Messages available.

5.    Locate the filename called corrctfl.

6.    Click on the text icon (appears as a piece of paper) to download as text.

7.    A File Download dialog will open.  Click the Save button.

8.    Navigate to the location where you would like to store the file.

9.    Change the file name to corrctfl.csv – the .csv ending is critical.

10.  Change the save as type to All Files.

11.  Click the Save button.

12.  Open the folder where you chose to save the file in step 8.

13.  Double click the file to open.
