ORS has published most data and information related to Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) compliance on the Employer Information website, in the Governmental Accounting Standards Board section, under Administration and Compliance.
The GASB 68 and 75 schedules report for fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2025, is available on the website under Financial Reports. The Office of the Auditor General audited the data in this report.
Also posted and ready for use:
- GASB 68 pension tables 1-4
- GASB 75 OPEB (Other Postemployment Benefits) tables 6-9
- Sample Required Supplementary Information (RSI), which is information that must be included with financial statements, for pension and OPEB.
- Sample note disclosures for pension and OPEB.
Your reporting unit needs the data in these tables when preparing preparing financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. The data tables, sample note disclosures, and sample schedules for required supplementary information (RSI) are listed separately for GASB 68 (pension) and GASB 75 (OPEB).
Table 5, Schedule of Covered-Employee Payroll by Employer, will be published in early August. The data in Table 5 is used in the Required Supplementary Information schedules for both pension and OPEB.
ORS will notify you by email when Table 5 is available.
ORS also updated and reorganized the GASB webpages this year. The GASB Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) are now on one page with sections. If the FAQ sections do not fully answer your questions, contact Employer Reporting at ORS_Web_Reporting@michigan.gov.
