Important internet security protocol update

The Office of Retirement Services is committed to protecting our member and employer data and continues to take the necessary steps to keep our network safe. To protect against vulnerabilities in Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols that no longer meet minimum standards with industry best practices for security and data integrity, the Employer Reporting system will require TLS 1.2 and no longer support the use of TLS 1.0 or 1.1 in November 2018.

Reporting units that use browsers that are not compatible with the latest standards of TLS 1.2 may have difficulty accessing the Employer Reporting website and making payments to ORS.

Please check your internet browser software to make sure it is using TLS 1.2. If not, please contact your IT staff for assistance in making your browser compliant with TLS 1.2 or installing a compliant version of your browser.
