New Law Changes Rules for Working After Retirement

Michigan Office of Retirement Services - Message for Public School Employers

On May 9, the governor signed into law Public Act 141 of 2018. The law changes some of the working after retirement rules with immediate effect.

The Reporting Instruction Manual and the Working After Retirement - Employer Guide are currently being updated and will be available on May 14.

The Office of Retirement Services will provide more detailed instructions regarding the implementation of PA 141 as they become available.
