Recycle and Reuse Christmas trees
Free, self-serve Christmas tree recycling is available at 11 Oakland County Parks from Friday, Dec. 26, 2014 – Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, seven days a week from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Independence Oaks in Clarkston and Orion Oaks in Orion Township will accept Christmas trees until Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 .
Please remove all decorations from trees before dropping them off. No commercial trees will be accepted.

The parks system will process the trees. On select days in 2015, wood chips will be available to the public free of charge at Orion Oaks County Park.
