Packing Party to Support Our Troops
The Wolverine lake Village community is coming together this Saturday to host a Packing Party on behalf of Operation Care Package of Michigan, Inc. and Support Military Working Dogs.
Packing Date: Saturday, October 13th, 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Packing Location: Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church
2905 S. Commerce Rd., Wolverine Lake, MI 48390
Who is Needed: Donors & volunteers to pack boxes
What is Needed: See the attached flyer for the list of items
Organized by Wolverine Lake Residents: Kristy Nedrow (248) 960-0244,
Joann Sullivan (248) 624-1706 and Denny DeWitt, Vietnam Veteran.
Donated items may be taken to Kristy at 515 Laguna Ct., Wolverine Lake, MI 48390. Monetary donations towards the cost of mailing can be mailed or taken to Kristy. Checks toward shipping should be made out to Operation Care Package Michigan. Checks for K-9 protective gear should be made out to Support Military Working Dogs.
The men and women of our military truly appreciate our support and are buoyed by the packages sent to them by total strangers. We invite you to participate in this very worthwhile endeavor. We are proud to honor and remember the service and sacrifice of fallen hero LCpl Justin Ellsworth, USMC, son of Wolverine Lake Police Captain John Ellsworth and his wife Debra.
