THANK YOU!
This week, the Village Council, along with the support of the Village of Holly Offices, unanimously approved the acquisition of a new Spartan Metro Star Top Mount fire engine! We are grateful for their unwavering support in safeguarding the community!
The new engine will replace an aging 20-year-old apparatus, providing our firefighters with state-of-the-art technology, enhanced safety features, and upgraded equipment to better protect the community.
We appreciate the continued support of our citizens, without whom we couldn't do our job! We look forward to taking delivery of the new engine in a month's time, after it receives its final touches. At that time; we’ll host an event for you the citizens to check out the new rig!
A special thanks to Chuck at R&R Fire Truck Repair Inc. for all the hard work, back and forth phone calls and emails, and dedication he’s had to helping us see this project through!

Village Boards & Commissions
Looking to make a difference? The Village of Holly encourages you to join one of our Boards or Commissions. Currently, we have 2 vacancies, and we are looking for community minded people to become involved. Meetings are held in the New Village Offices. Located in Cyclone Park, 504 ½ East Maple.
- Opening on the Historic District Commission (HDC). The HDC works on ensuring the preservation of historically and culturally significant areas of the Village. Meetings are held at 6pm the second Thursday of the month.
- Opening for Downtown Development Authority (DDA) for a Citizen at Lage; a person who is a resident of the Village of Holly, but does not represent a specific organization or business. DDA's can help with a variety of goals, including: Preventing deterioration, Encouraging historic preservation, Improving the business climate, Attracting new businesses, and Promoting economic growth. The DDA Board meets the second Monday of the month at 6pm.
Please visit the Village of Holly Offices (504 ½ East Maple) to fill out a Citizen Participation Form. The completed form will be given to our Village President to recommend applicants to the Village Council. The Council will then vote on approval. We are excited to have you join us!

Village of Holly DPW
The Village of Holly is accepting applications for an entry level full-time Department of Public Works Laborer. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the ability to perform a variety of physically demanding tasks. Responsibilities include park and cemetery maintenance, road maintenance, building and grounds maintenance, duties associated with the municipal water and sewer system and other duties as assigned. Municipal experience and CDL is preferred but not mandatory. Offers of employment are contingent upon the successful passing of a physical exam, drug screen and background investigation.

New Generation Seniors of Holly meet each Thursday 11-1ish at Battle Alley Coffee. Make new friends , laugh , have a light snack, play cards, laugh, put together a jigsaw puzzle, maybe take a walk in the halls, laugh, share stories, maybe play a different game from the games we have on hand, oh and laugh some more,etc!!
We may not have alot of resources available right now ......BUT we sure enjoy being together with what we do share together for now .
