NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the regular meeting of the Village of Holly Council, scheduled on May 11, 2021 at 7:00 pm, will be held electronically as authorized under PA 228 of 2020. Members of the public body and members of the public may participate electronically as described below.

SPRING & SUMMER
EVENTS UPDATES
- Village Council has approved all special events requested at this time with the stipulation that the event organizers be responsible for advising attendees to follow MDHHS COVID-19 protocols in place at the time of the event.
- Holly Farmers Market will be held again in Crapo Park on Sundays, beginning May 2nd.
- The Holly Classic Car Show has been approved and the organizers will be announcing a start date soon.
- The HollyDays Festival will be held the weekend of September 11th which will feature downtown fireworks, with the best viewing along Broad St.
- Fireworks fundraiser tickets for the HollyDays display are available at village offices, or at select businesses in the village. The winning prize is a 2021 Moto ATV! See details below.
As a reminder the July 4th Fireworks Event has been cancelled. Due to the popularity of the event and large crowds drawn to the Lakeside Park area, Council believed it was in the best interest of health & safety that this year’s event be cancelled.
Looking forward to seeing you downtown this spring/ summer!

HOLLY FIREWORKS
ATV RAFFLE!
Drawing September 11th, 9PM
The Village of Holly, Holly Powersports, and Ziggy's have all come together to raffle a BRAND-NEW CF MOTO ATV! The money will be used for our Wonderful FIREWORKS this year! Tickets are $10.00 a piece or 3 for $25.00. All tickets have a BOGO, buy one get one soft serve coupon from the new Ziggy's Ice Cream of Holly!
Tickets will be sold at the Village Offices (300 East Street- just call ahead to claim yours) and local participating businesses ( Just look for the flyer!)
The drawing will be held at the Holly Moose Lodge (210 S. Broad Stree) on Saturday, September 11th at 9PM.

Do you plan on working on your home this Spring? We at the Village of Holly Offices are here to help! Make sure to visit our website www.hollyvillage.org to view all of the permits in the Village of Holly.

- Roof work (Always requires an Open Inspection)

- Accessory Structures (Barns/ Sheds/ Garages)
- Wood Deck (Attached or Unattached)
- Any Additions to Home
- Anything in Right Of Way
The 4 common permits used for these home updates are Building, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing. These packets are filled with great information to help you complete the permits. Questions are absolutely free! Please call 248-634-9571 and ask your permit questions. Office Hours are Monday- Thursday 7:30 AM- 5:30 PM.
