Let's Get Outside, Holly!

Katy Golden, DDA Director

Hello, Village of Holly residents.  We hope you’ve been enjoying our daily informational updates.  Today’s message is about getting outside and enjoying our community.  Fresh air and sunshine are great for your body and mental health.  Did you know that we have FIVE parks in the Village?  Crapo, Cyclone, Ganshaw, Lakeside, and WaterWorks. Park hours are from 8am - 9:30pm, plenty of time to be outside.

These parks have wonderful trails and great green space.  During this time of social distancing, you’re encouraged to get outside and take a walk and stretch your legs. Please remember to keep your dogs on their leash.  Also, Play Structures at all parks are off limits during this time, but there are other great ways to enjoy the park.

Spring has sprung!  Look for flowers starting to emerge and birds fluttering about.  If you’re feeling artistic, get out the sidewalk chalk and leave a positive message on your sidewalk or driveway for passers-by.  We’re in for some fantastic weather over the next few days.  Get outside, spend time in our parks, go for a walk, and soak up the sun!
