  • 1 Opening on the Zoning Board of Appeals.  This commission member would review to appeals from developers and or homeowners who request variances or exceptions to the current zoning ordinance. ZBA meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 7pm.

no park snow

It's *STILL* that time of year, please keep in mind that our snow ordinance is for everyone's safety in the event of a snow emergency.   Our ordinance reads, "No parking on any Village street during a snow emergency. A snow emergency is declared when two (2) inches of snow or more are predicted by the National Weather Service out of Flint or White Lake, whichever is higher.  Parking will remain prohibited until 24 hours after the snowfall has ended." Therefore, in times of 2 inches or more of snow, your car needs to be moved off of the streets.

Thank you for moving your vehicles so that the Village DPW can plow our streets as soon as possible.  Please help us in thanking our Village DPW for all the work they do to keep our streets clean and safe! For questions or concerns please call our DPW at 248-634-2202.

Thank you & THINK SPRING!

Holly Police Department

Drug Take-back

Be a Part of the Solution!

Please Bring Unused Prescriptions to the Holly Police Department for Proper Disposal. We are open to collect prescriptions Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm.

Did you know?

* 3/4 of all illegally used prescription drugs come from “other sources” than a doctors office and many are stolen from home medicine cabinets.

* The path to Heroin addiction begins with prescription pill abuse. Four out of five people addicted to Heroin started their addiction with prescription Opioids.

* Improperly discarded medications will pollute the soil and fresh water systems causing adverse effects on humans, animals and fish.

* You can be a part of the solution by securing narcotic medications in your home and bringing unused prescriptions to authorized drop locations.

Please remove pills from their bottles and place pills in plastic Ziploc bags for transport and drop off at the Police Department. We do not accept fluids of any kind. We do accept used needles. Make sure you remove your labels containing personal information from prescription bottles before home disposal of empty bottles!

A simple removal from the home is a huge part of the solution.

Thank you,

Holly Police Department
