Vet 2 Vet

Holly Area Veterans Resource Center will sponsor VET to VET welcoming all current and prior military and their partners/ spouses. From 5:30 - 7 PM every third Monday of the month with food provided. Please come spend time with fellow Veterans. We hope to see you! The Holly Area Veterans Center is located at the Karl Richter Community Center, 300 East Street.

Holly Music in the Park
2nd & 4th Saturdays in Crapo Park
Who's ready for some music! The Village of Holly Parks commission is bringing back the very popular Holly Music in the Park concert series. Check out the line-up of musicians scheduled for this summer! Come to Crapo Park the second and fourth Saturday of the month to enjoy a FREE concert under the pavilion from 5-7pm. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join us in the Park!

Downtown Holly MOVIE NIGHTS
2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month, 9:15pm
It's finally that time of year again when we can enjoy wonderful movies on the Big Screen in Battle Alley. Holly Area Community Coalition presents some fantastic FREE family films, the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month at about 9:15pm. Bring your lawn chairs/ blankets and enjoy and watch the movie under the stars! Concessions available for purchase! If it is raining or too wet at 8pm the day of the event we will move it to Karl Richter Community Center. Please check out our Facebook page for more information.

Village of Holly Master Plan Community Survey
The Village of Holly’s Council and Planning Commission are in the process of creating a Master Plan with the help of ROWE Professional Services Company. A Master Plan is an assessment of the past, present of a community, and a projection of its future land use, infrastructure, and other community characteristics. Some of the information included in the Master Plan are profiles on neighboring municipalities, demographic information, land uses, natural features, goals and objectives for the community, and much more.
This Master Plan document will help guide the Village of Holly into the future through a collection of different public outreach strategies including a Visioning Session, Community Survey, and Open House. Please stay tuned, check often, and pass along opportunities to share your thoughts and help shape your community.

Flags Presented to Village Fire & Police Departments
Our very own Village of Holly Fire Chief Steve McGee and Chief of Police Mike Story were presented these beautiful Red Line & Blue Line American Flags at the Council meeting last night. A local Holly company,
provided these handcrafted, beautiful flags to honor our local heroes! Thank you so much Wooden American Flags!

Lots of great items for sale at the Friends of the Holly Township Library’s ‘Junk in the Trunk’ sale from 9am- 3pm in the parking lot of the library (1116 N. Saginaw). This is a fundraiser for the Friends, who contribute to programs at the library.

Come check out the merchandise and services of some creative young entrepreneurs as they sell their wares on Saturday, August 3 2019 in Battle Alley.
Kids ages 6-16 have developed a brand, created a product or service, built a marketing strategy, and are opening business for customers at our one-day marketplace. The public is invited to come support Holly area children as they launch their very own startup businesses!

Join us at the Karl Richter Center for a day of fun-filled activities to help you and your preschool through 12th grade children prepare for the school year! Free Events incude; immunizations (pre-registrations required), Dental Screening, Vision Screening, Lunch (11:30am-1pm), Haircuts, Enrollment help, bounce house, face painting, and MORE! Blues, Brews, & BBQ
Saturday, August 3rd, 5-11pm
The Holly Moose Lodge & The Holly Area Chamber are hosting with event sponsor The State Bank, the annual Blues, Brews, and BBQ featuring Lester Blues! Come have some delicious BBQ and relax with a cold brew while hearing Lester Blues. Dinner begins at 5pm on Broad Street in front of the Holly Moose Lodge. Tickets are available at the Holly Chamber Office, The State Bank, Winglemire Furniture, The Holly Moose Lodge, and of course at the door. $15 for dinner & music, $5 for music after 7pm, and drinks are sold separately.
