Update: New Village of Holly Fire Station
It’s an exciting time for the Fire Department; most notably because we’re finally in the new station! The Station is located at 414 N Saginaw next to the Dollar Tree. There’s still some finishing touches that need to be completed such as the parking lot and the sign out front but those will be completed this summer. Unlike in the past, all equipment is now in one location and we’re more centrally located in the Village. The new station features a common room, kitchen, copy room, bunk rooms, conference room, 3 offices and a 4-person work station. The main apparatus bay houses two engines, the Quint (Ladder Truck), 2 ambulance, and a utility truck. The back building will house a hands-on training facility, work out room, the Rescue truck and other miscellaneous equipment.
A grand-opening ceremony will take place in July.
The fire department has a staff of 30 including a full time Chief, Fire Marshall, part time, and paid-on-call members. The station is staffed 7 days a week 24 hours a day with two to four personnel.
