Community Center Holiday and Spring Break Hours

The Community Center will be open regular hours on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4.  Other hours are below.
Sunday, April 5 (Easter)
Fitness Room & Gym: 8am-2pm, Adult Lap and Therapy Swim: 8:15am-10am, Open Swim: 10am-1pm
School Spring Break: April 6 - 10
Fitness Room, Gym, and Morning Adult Lap and Therapy Swim: Normal Hours
Open Swim Times: M/W/F 11am-9pm, T/TH 11am-6:50pm
NOTICE TO ALL PICKLEBALL, ADULT VOLLEYBALL, and BADMINTON PARTICIPANTS!
Due to AquaCamp and the increase in gym use on Spring Break, the following open recreation will be cancelled April 3-10
Adult Volleyball, Pickleball and Badminton WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS: 6-9am Monday Badminton   


Spring Break Special Rates at Community Center: April 3-12

School is out and Troy students can purchase a special pass for only $10.  All Day Passes are $4 during this time.


Family Night Out Egg Hunt at Community Center!

Gather up a basket full of eggs at this event taking place on April 4 from 5-8:30pm. Participants will gather eggs in the pool, enjoy crafts, and have opportunity to take a picture with the bunny. Gym, Moonwalk, and Pool all available.  Fees are $5/resident, $6/ NR.


Spring Break AquaCamp

Looking for something fun to do over the school breaks for ages  5-13? AquaCamp is it! Camp includes gym time, moonwalk, pizza party, t-shirt, and plenty of pool time. Before and after care is available for an additional fee!
Spring Break Break: April 2 & 3 and 6-10
Registration Deadline: after 3/30/15 add $5 to fee.
Location: Troy Community Center
Camp Staff: Indoor Pool Staff
Pizza party will take place on Friday, April 10

American Red Cross Lifeguard Class

This class is for ages 15 and older who are interested in becoming a certified lifeguard. Participants will learn how to anticipate accidents in aquatic areas, prevent drowning and accidents, execute rescues and assists, and provide rescue and emergency care. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive both the American Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR certificates. Positions may be available at the Community Center indoor pool when class is complete. Will receive copy and link of book on day one.
Location: Troy Community Center Indoor Pool; the deep water test will take place at Troy Athens’s on April 11th 4-6PM
Act#113024B - Res: $205; Non-Res $215
Monday- Friday April 6-10th from 9-4PM.
Note: Additional deep water test date TBD for all lifeguard see date above

Family Night Out Special

An inexpensive night out for the family.  These take place on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 5-7:45pm.  Fees are $2.50/res and $3.50/NR.  April 11 is a Patriotic themed event.  There will be Patriotic games and special giveaways to celebrate the night.  Swimming, gym, and moonwalk available to use during event.


Spring Break Golf Camp

Kid Golf

This two day camp is for boys and girls of all levels. Golfers are divided into two groups based on age and playing ability. Day one focuses on full swing, putting, chipping, rules and etiquette.  Day two is on the golf course. Ratio is 1 instructor to 10 golfers. Practice balls and greens fees are included in fee.  Located at Sanctuary Lake Golf Academy.  Activity 114007A is 1-4pm on April 6 and 7, 114007B is 1-4pm on April 8 and 9.  Fees are $60/Res, and $70/NR.


Spring Break Art Camp: Imagination Explorer-What If?

Calling all artists ages 6-14! Spring is finally here!! Explore your creativity and go a little crazy. Find out what happens if you change directions midstream. Using pastels, watercolors and ink, we'll unleash your creative side. Class takes place on April 7 and/or April 8.  Fees for one day class are $28 Res, $38 NR. Two day classes are $45 Res, $55 NR.  Sign up at our online website.
