Yard Waste Collection Resumes Week of April 7th!
City of Troy, Michigan sent this bulletin at 04/01/2025 12:30 PM EDT
Yard waste collection will resume the week of April 7, 2025.
Yard waste will be collected on the same day as refuse and recycling.
Yard waste must be prepared according to our yard waste guidelines:
- Yard waste bags shall be placed in 35-gallon (maximum) containers with a City of Troy yard waste sticker (available for free at any City building) OR in paper yard waste bags
(paper bags do not need to go inside cans).
- Yard waste will not be collected in plastic bags.
- Brush or branches shall be 2 inches in diameter or smaller and cut to less than 3 feet in length, bundled and tied.
- Yard waste containers may not exceed 50 pounds (per SOCRRA's contract).
