Group Tours International owner Darlene Bringard and your Ireland trip escort Nancy Thoenes will be on hand to answer all of your questions about the upcoming trip to Ireland on April 17.  Pay a deposit by January 12 and be eligible for a drawing to win a free computer class.  Darlene will also provide information about the Mediterranean Cruise scheduled for September.

AARP Tax-Aide volunteers, trained in cooperation with the IRS, will prepare tax returns for low to moderate income persons.   Appointments are required.  Call the Friends of Troy Seniors at 248-526-2608 or stop in at their office at the Community Center near the lunch room Monday-Friday between 10 am and 2 pm to make an appointment.  For a complete list of records to bring to have your taxes prepared, click here and see page 13. 

 

The Friends of Troy Seniors  is sponsoring a fundraiser at Marinelli's Restaurant on Thursday, January 19 from 11 am - 9 pm.  Pay the regular menu price and Marinelli's will donate 20% of your total check for food and drink to The Friends.  Pick up an official coupon at the Community Center or bring a copy of this email.  Marinelli's is located at 4924 Rochester Road, just south of Long Lake.

Enjoy the finest cuisine prepared by the students of the Culinary Studies Institute at Oakland Community College Orchard Ridge Campus and visit the campus bakery after lunch.  Transportation is by Troy School bus departing from the north entrance of the Troy Community Center.
