Last Chance to Register for Winter Break AquaCamp: December 19 - 23 and/or 26 - 30!

Looking for a special activity for the kids over winter break week.  For ages 6 - 13 and includes games, a craft, pizza party on Friday, gym and swim time.  Camp takes place 9 am - 4 pm at the Troy Community Center.  Before and after care available at an additional fee.  Check the Winter Troy Today for fees and registration information.

Last Chance to Register for Winter Break Lifeguarding Class: Dec 20 - 23, 26 - 28

This class is for ages 15 and older who want to become a certified lifeguard.  Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive both an American Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR certificates.  Positions may be available at the Community Center Indoor Pool when class is complete, or at the Troy Family Aquatic Center during the summer.  Class takes place December 20 - 23, and 26 - 28 from 9 am - 3 pm.  Mandatory additional deep water training will take place on January 7 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Troy High School.  Fee is $205 for residents and $215 for non-residents.  Use activity number 143040C to register.

Community Center Holiday Hours and Special Open Swims!

The Community Center is closed on December 25 and January 1.  Hours on December 24 are Fitness Room: 7 am - 2 pm, Adult Lap and Therapy: 7:15 - 10 am, Open Swim: 10 am - 1:30 pm.  Hours on December 31 are Fitness Room: 7 am - 6 pm, Adult Lap and Therapy: 7:15 - 10 am, Open Swim: 10 am - 5 pm.  Additional Open Swim Times are offered on December 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 30, January 2 from 11 am - 8:55 pm and December 20, 22, 27, 29 from 11 am - 8 pm.  See page 30 of the Winter Troy Today for special rates and passes during the break!

Community Center Holiday Special Rates and Passes!

Grandparent Holiday Package: Visit the Troy Community Center between December 26 - 31 and pay only $9 daily entry fee for 1 adult and 2 grandchildren ($5 additional adult, $2 additional child).  Package is for residents and non-residents.

Holiday Rate Freeze: Daily rates are just $4 for youth and $5 for adults from December 19 - January 2.  Rates are for residents and non-residents.

College Student Rate: Pick your continuous month (31 days) between now and January 15.  Rates are $25 resident, $32 non-resident employees, and $39 non-resident. Current College ID is required at purchase.

Middle/High School Package: Buy your pass valid December 17 - 31 (ages 10 - 17) for $18 resident, $20 non-resident employee, and $22 non-resident.  Student ID required at purchase.

Hollydays Pass for Exercise Classes

Participate in a select list of fitness classes between December 17 - 30 for the low fee of $28 residents, and $38 for non-residents.  These classes are free if you are a Fitness Passport member.  List of classes can be found at the Control Desk.



The Troy Community Center Invites Pass Holders of Local Competitors to work out at our Fitness Center for FREE!

Between now and January 16, bring in a current membership I.D. from one of our local competitors and you will receive a one week pass for FREE.  The one week pass will give you access to the fitness center (cardio equipment, circuit training, and free weights), gymnasium, and aquatic area.  Residents and non-residents are welcome!

If you decide to purchase an annual membership, we will give you one additional month FREE!  (Offer valid until January 31.)  Resident annual memberships begin at the rate of $20/month for an adult.  Matinee and single month passes also available.  Some possible local competitors include Bally's, Lifetime Fitness, LA Fitness, Golds Gym, Charter Fitness, FitZone for Women, YMCA, and Curves.

Community Center Fitness Passport Recreation Pass

The Troy Community Center is offering a pass called the Fitness Passport.  This pass entitles the patron to have all of the options of an Unlimited Recreation Pass holder PLUS the opportunity to participate in a select list of fitness classes.  Fees start at $27/mo for this pass.  See the Control Desk for more information on fees and fitness classes included.

Sign up early for your 2012 season pass between December 12 - 30 and receive four free daily guest passes (limit 4 per household).  There is a new scale for the season pass rates.  Fees are as follows: Resident Adult - $61; Resident Child (3 - 17 yrs) - $52; Non-Resident Employee Adult - $78; Non-Resident Employee Child (3 - 17 yrs) - $64; Non-Resident Adult - $89; Non-Resident Child (3 - 17 yrs) - $75.  Children under 3 as of May 1, 2012 do not need a pass.

Family Night now takes place twice a month!

An inexpensive and fun night out for families!  Spend quality time together and enjoy basketball, swimming, parachutes, the inflatable castle, and more.  Family 4 pack is only $10 for residents, and $14 for non-residents.  Additional family members are $2.50 resident; $3.50 nonresident.  This event is FREE for Community Center Unlimited Pass Members.  January dates are the 14th and 28th.
