Have any Labor Day plans this year?  The Paint Creek Trailways Commission is offering all community members a fun way to participate in a Labor Day Walk and Run on the Paint Creek Trail!

It's time for the 13^th Annual Paint Creek Trail Labor Day Virtual Bridge Walk and Run on Monday, September 3rd, 2018, at the Rochester Municipal Park Kiwanis Pavilion.  

It is a FREE community event, with a suggested donation of $5.00 per family for Paint Creek Trail improvements. Last year, over $1,400 was raised for the Bike Lids for Kids program. For more information, including online registration, visit the Events page at www.paintcreektrail.org. 

Accessibility Workshop- Paint Creek Cider Mill
Oakland Township Parks and Recreation is presenting an Accessibility Workshop to receive comments and input from the general public and disability advocates on two Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund grant applications. The Accessibility Workshop will be held Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Paint Creek Cider Mill, 4480 Orion Road, Rochester, Michigan, 48306. Both grant applications are available for review on the Township website, www.oaklandtownship.org, and at the Parks and Recreation Offices at the Paint Creek Cider Mill, 4480 Orion Road, Rochester, MI 48306.
