Landscape with free recycled wood chips

Woodchips pick-up

Obstructive trees in Oakland County have been removed and processed to provide residents with free wood chips. Chips of assorted wood are available for pick-up on April 28; May 26 and June 23.

Residents are asked to bring shovels, pitchforks, wheelbarrows and/or buckets to load the woodchips. If bringing a trailer, please bring a tarp. First-come, first-served. No commercial haulers.

Pick up location for the woodchips is at the Orion Oaks County Park parking lot on Clarkston Road between Baldwin and Joslyn roads.
