New ID card hours
The hours to get a county Access Card (ID cards) have changed.
The new, appointment-only hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Emergency card replacements are available on Fridays. The modification of hours is a result of a six-month study of all ID card requests.
For questions or to schedule an appointment to get a county ID card, contact Bldgaccess@oakgov.com or 248-452-2191.
COVID test kits available for home use
Employees and retirees covered under the Navitus pharmacy plan may purchase over the counter, (OTC) at-home COVID-19 tests, at little or no cost.
The pharmacy plan will cover FDA-authorized OTC at-home COVID tests purchased on or after Jan. 15, 2022, without a doctor’s prescription. The benefit includes up to eight tests per member every 30 days.
It is highly recommended employees get the kits at the pharmacy to ensure they are processed properly and that there are no out-of-pocket expenses.
Navitus will reimburse at a rate of up to $12 per individual test. For more information, visit oakgov.com/benefits for information or click here.
All residential households in the U.S. can order one set of four free at home test from CovidTests.Gov
ASR in Aetna provider network
ASR is replacing CIGNA with Aetna’s provider network.
The vast majority of CIGNA providers also participate in Aetna’s network, but employees should still confirm that their provider is covered through the new ASR plan by going to find a provider.
The change was made because CIGNA terminated business agreements with ASR. In response, ASR sought a network with Aetna because it has a 99.4 percent match with CIGNA’s providers for county members.
To find a provider employees may also email findprovider@asrhealthbenefits.com or call 800-968-2449.
For questions regarding the change, contact Oakland County HR Benefits Specialist, Uda Daniel, at (248) 975-9649 or danielu@oakgov.com.
