Diversification Through Federal Contracting Program

Diversification Through Federal Contracting Program: The Oakland County Innovation & Growth team has recently launched the ‘Diversification Through Federal Contracting Program’ to help grow the supplier base and increase investment in companies throughout Oakland County. The intention of this program is to support Oakland County businesses diversify their customer portfolio, understand how federal contracting may fit into their long-range plans, and tools they need to win federal contracts. Save the Date: Defense Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) Training is coming up on September 23, 2021, from 9:00–11:00 a.m.

2021 Michigan Israel Defense Delegation

2021 Michigan Israel Defense Delegation – The Michigan Israel Business Accelerator is actively recruiting for their Israel Trade Mission taking place from November 6-12, 2021, which includes attending ISDEF. Oakland County Business Development team will be participating in the two Industry Days on September 21 and 22 along with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Tickets are available now.

The Office of Future Mobility and Electrification (OFME) and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) have partnered to launch the Michigan Mobility Funding Platform aimed at providing vital grant funding to mobility and electrification companies of all sizes looking to deploy their technology in Michigan. The funding platform is designed to accelerate investment in solutions that create safer, more equitable and environmental conscious transportation for all Michiganders.
