Cleaning and disinfecting hard surfaces help prevent the spread of flu. Use these resources when cleaning and disinfecting in your school.
Prevent the spread of flu (and other germs!) by:
- Cough and sneeze in your sleeve or in a tissue
- Throw used tissue in the trash
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water

Encourage staff and students to stay home when sick. If you experience flu symptoms, contact your healthcare provider for advice.
- Do not attend school, work, or social events if sick.
- Cough and sneeze into your sleeve or in a tissue.
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
- Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
