The Michigan Department of Education, Office of Great Start is pleased to announce an informational technical assistance webinar regarding a new grant opportunity, State School Aid Act, Section 23e – Before and After School/Summer Learning-Community Based Organizations, that will be released in mid-April. The purpose of this grant will be for non-profit, community-based organizations only* to provide before and after school and/or summer learning in-person programming to serve children in kindergarten through grade 8..

This webinar will give potential applicants information about the grant process, timeline, eligibility, and minimum requirements to help determine if this grant opportunity is a fit for your organization at this time. It is strongly encouraged that potential applicants attend the webinar on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 1-2 p.m.
