Employers & Community College Collaborate to Create Highly Skilled Workforce

Macomb Community College’s Michigan Technical Education Center (M-TEC) provides education and training in advanced integrated manufacturing, automated systems and robotics. Over the last three years M-TEC, through funding by Michigan Coalition for Advanced Manufacturing (M-CAM), has trained over 1,000 students working with hundreds of companies and helped students gain the skills needed by industry.

M-TEC is celebrating the accomplishments of those that it has served and are looking forward to providing what is needed for training in the future. Also, M-TEC has completed the integration of their $2.6 million investment in new equipment and would like to show how the training they do every day can impact your bottom line in terms of productivity and profits.
