Learn About Elections

Tuesday, November 8, 2022 is the next General Election.

As we approach the upcoming General Election next week, it is just as important to understand the background of elections/voting in the United States as is knowing the candidates on the ballot. Use the Library of Michigna's Proquest EBook Central resource to explore topics like:

  • The history of elections and voting in the United States.
  • What goes into making elections available to voters.
  • How young people see elections and campaigns.
  • And more!

Take a look at a sample of the many election-related eBook titles available to Library of Michigan card holders in Proquest Ebook Central by visiting our Election Collection. View other online resources by going to: www.Michigan.gov/LMdatabases.

Touring the Library of Michigan

Several members of both the Library of Michigan Board of Trustees and Library of Michigan Foundation Board of Directors recently attend a joint tour of the Library of Michigan. The tour included several areas of the Library of Michigan's facility and a hand's opportunity to see several unique items within the Library's collections. We are grateful to the members of both boards and all that they do in assisting the Library of Michigan!
