ACTION NEEDED: Activate your new UIA MiUI account

Action Needed: Activate your new Unemployment Insurance Agency MiUI Employer account

This message serves as a reminder that your employer account in MiUI has not been activated. You must activate your MiUI account to be able to submit your Quarterly Wage Report, which is due Monday, April 27, 2026. The report deadline is getting close!

If you have a Third-Party Administrator (TPA), please associate with them in MiUI so they can submit a Quarterly Wage Report on your behalf.

You are required to file a Quarterly Wage Report even if you do not have any employees or wages to report.

If you have already activated your MiUI account or received this notice in error, please disregard.

How to activate your employer account in MiUI

Log into MiWAM to obtain your 8-digit MiUI Activation Code on the MiWAM landing page.

Go to the UIA Homepage (www.michigan.gov/UIA) and scroll down to the Services section. Select Employers: MiUI for Tax

Log into MiLogin 
- If you do not have a MiLogin for Business account select Create an Account and follow the MiLogin for Business: Step-by-Step Guide

The Michigan Unemployment Insurance (MiUI) Employer Portal screen will display. Agree to the Terms & Conditions, then select Launch Service .

On the MiUI UFACTS screen, select Login.

Select Employer Account Initiation.

On the Employer Account Initiation screen, under the Authentication section, enter your Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN), Employer Account Number (EAN), and Activation Code.

Select Authenticate.
