With summer in full swing, if you're looking for a nice spot to tie up a boat, the State Land Bank Authority has three boat slips available to purchase in Oscoda located near the mouth of the Au Sable River.
As part of a condominium marina association with the Riverview Marina, the buyer will be responsible for associated fees and future property taxes. These slips are being sold ‘as is’ and may need to be updated

The Blight Elimination Program Round 2 applications were due May 31 and 54 eligible land banks or local units of government submitted requests totaling over $25 million in grant funding. All applicants were notified at the end of June of their awards and all projects must be completed by August 31, 2024. More information will be available shortly.
Round 3 will consist of issuing grant agreements for county and city land banks. They will then have until March 31, 2024, to submit projects for review and approval to proceed. Round 4 will be strictly competitive and will be released around October 1, 2023.
Funds awarded under Round 3 and 4 must have the dollars obligated by August 1, 2024 and projects completed by September 30, 2026.
