Our next 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge is this May. Reserve your spot in one of our virtual cohorts and learn together with women around Michigan. The Wednesday Evening Cohort will run from April 27 to May 17 and the Tuesday Lunch Cohort will run from May 3 to May 23.
The 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge is designed to better understand the origins of the concept of race and how it influences us as individuals and organizations. Created by and shared in partnership with the Michigan League for Public Policy, our version of the 21-Day Challenge combines daily emails with live, online reflection conversations to unpack our learning in a shared space.
Register for a May challenge or join the waitlist for future cohorts.

Dr. Sabala Mandava, Chair of the Michigan Women’s Commission, recently penned a guest commentary in Bridge Michigan about how a new Michigan law will help put more money back in the pockets of hundreds of thousands of women – especially those who have experienced the hardest hits to their economic security.
“Together, the Lowering MI Costs plan delivers a $1 billion tax break to seniors and working families, helping more women overcome systemic disadvantages and find greater financial stability. The plan is a major step toward bringing much-needed economic security to more women all around our state, and to increasing Michigan’s economic prosperity as a whole. That’s a Women’s History Month achievement we’re proud to celebrate.”

Tri-Share is an innovative, bipartisan program managed by the Michigan Women’s Commission that makes child care more affordable for more families.
