Pursuant to the epidemic order issued on October 29, 2020 by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, titled "Gatherings and Face Mask Order", licensed businesses in Michigan must follow the occupancy, face covering and contact tracing requirements described in the order:

-
Food Service Establishments - For licensed food service establishment businesses that sell alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises, such as restaurants, bars, hotels, tasting rooms, and clubs:
- Must maintain accurate records of the names and phone number of patrons who purchase food for consumption on the premises and the date and time of entry to assist with contact tracing.
- Reduced occupancy of 50% of the normal seating capacity.
- Must maintain at least 6 feet of distance between parties.
- Must limit the number of people at a table to 6 people.
- Must prohibit gathering in indoor common areas in which people can congregate, dance, or mingle.
- Must only sell and serve alcoholic beverages to parties that are seated and separated from one another by at least six feet, and do not intermingle.
