Welcome to Talent
Connect 2012! In this new year we're launching innovative
strategies to help you find the talent you’ll need in the coming months and
beyond. Learn about the State of Michigan’s first-ever
virtual career fair targeting IT and high-tech job seekers. We’ve kept the
cost low to allow any Michigan employer looking for high-tech talent to recruit job seekers from around the country without ever leaving their office. And Shifting Code is a new, short-term program to train IT professionals in in-demand programming languages.
New in this issue: We Hire
Heroes, stories of Michigan employers who hire the brave men and women who have served our country. If your company recruits and employs returning veterans, we want to recognize your efforts. E-mail us at veteransservices@michigan.gov and tell us how hiring a veteran has benefited your business.
Cheers,
