The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer, located in Newberry, Michigan.

This position will assist the Construction Engineer in the management of construction projects including:  oversee construction projects, oversee Construction Technicians, manage the TSC local agency construction program, perform utility coordination in the construction phase of projects, respond to traffic, safety and operational issues as they relate to projects, complete transportation project designs as needed, prepare project programming documents, enter project data into Department's databases, complete local agency project file reviews, and track and administer the TSC warranty projects.  Act as a team leader and be recognized resource for technicians, co-ops and engineers in highway design and construction.  Coordinate issues with the public and local agencies.  Complete PASER reviews on the local system as necessary.

Possession of a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering or in civil and environmental engineering.
