Public meeting this Tuesday for
major I-196 BL/M-121 project near Zeeland
WHAT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a project meeting to review plans for this year's reconstruction work at the I-196 Business Loop (BL)/M-121 (Chicago Drive) intersection in Zeeland. MDOT officials will provide project details, scheduling and traffic information. The public is invited to stop by anytime during the meeting to learn more about the project and provide comments.

PROJECT:
MDOT is investing $6 million to reconstruct and realign the I-196 BL/M-121 intersection in Zeeland. The project also includes drainage upgrades, new traffic signals and extending 84th Avenue south to create a new intersection at I-196 BL. The westbound I-196 exit ramp to I-196 BL will also be reconstructed and widened.
