MDOT public meeting to discuss 2016 bridge repairs
on M-14/US-23 BR over the Huron River

 

WHAT:

Public information meeting to discuss bridge construction currently scheduled for 2016 on M-14/US-23 Business Route over the Huron River, Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT)/Amtrak railroad and Barton Drive in Ann Arbor and Ann Arbor Township. The public is invited to stop by any time during the two-hour time period to learn more about the project and provide comments.

BACKGROUND:

During construction, M-14 will be closed with traffic detoured using I-94 and US-23. Local traffic will be open to Miller Road from the west and Main Street from the east.

 

As part of the project, MDOT is proposing to obtain a permanent easement under the M-14 bridge at Bandemer Park and temporarily use the park for construction staging. Huron River access will be maintained at all times during construction, but the waterway will be narrowed during construction.
