In just a few short weeks the 2019 Michigan fishing season will really kick off. Do you have plans to hit the water?
Just this spring there’s so much fishing to look forward to:

April 27 – statewide trout opener

April 27 – walleye season opener on Lower Peninsula inland waters

May 15 – walleye season opener on Upper Peninsula Great Lakes, inland waters & St. Marys River
-
May 25 – bass possession season on all waters, including Great Lakes (except Lake St. Clair, St. Clair River & Detroit River)
A new fishing license is required April 1. Buy your 2019 license before you head out.
