Special grant opportunity available to support coastal ecosystems and communities

The OGL's Coastal Management Program today announces a grant funding opportunity focusing on healthy coastal habitats, waters and communities.

Coastal Program Manager Ronda Wuycheck said, "for this initiative, we're seeking to partner with coastal communities on nature-based solutions while improving connections to the coast for public use and enjoyment.”

The grant funding opportunity will make $300,000 available for planning projects that protect, preserve, restore and enhance coastal ecosystems. Coastal Management Program staff will provide technical assistance and guidance to grantees.
