DEPR received reports that the links to NACCHO resources in the October 23 PHEP Update are not working. These links normally only need a free account on the NACCHO website. At this time NACCHO has made their website member-only accessible while they perform internal maintenance on the website. They hope to have public access restored soon. NACCHO will post updates on their website when available.
The Region V Training Center provides on demand training on workforce development, staff education and various other topics, and they are free or very low cost. So whether you are looking to expand your knowledge or pick up some continuing education credits consider checking it out. Some of the available topics include:

The Michigan Public Health Week Partnership (Partnership) invites you to nominate someone for the Hometown Health Hero award. The Hometown Health Hero award is presented yearly to individuals and/or organizations that have made significant and measurable contributions to preserve and/or improve the health of their community. The only way for someone to receive this award is to be nominated. What health improvements are happening in your community that we can potentially recognize with this award?
