Think Beyond the Sink Media Campaign |
|
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is pleased to announce the launch of the drinking water media campaign, “Think Beyond the Sink.” Think Beyond the Sink focuses on educating Michiganders about where their water comes from and tips to improve their water quality to protect their health. |
|
This campaign will feature many media strategies, including social media posts, which will be offered on our website through our new Drinking Water Toolkit. Help us spread the word by using what is included in it! You can find the toolkit and other resources on our website under the Learn More tab. |

Drinking Water Survey
In August of 2021, the MDHHS Division of Environmental Health (DEH) surveyed Michiganders to learn how well they know their drinking water.
Responses were valuable and helped MDHHS learn where to focus project efforts and protect Michiganders’ health. This survey also helped drive media strategies in the “Think Beyond the Sink” campaign.
The infographic below shows the results of the Drinking Water Survey from 2021. The results are also available on our website under the Learn More tab in the “Reports and Articles” section.
