DEPR will begin 800 MHz radio checks this budget period. Radio checks will be conducted quarterly on the first Thursday. The dates for this budget period are as follows:
- November 7, 2024,
- February 6, 2025,
- May 1, 2025,
- August 7, 2025.
If for some reason any of the test dates need to be adjusted, DEPR will send notification about the adjustment.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a Health Alert Network (HAN) Health Advisory to inform healthcare providers, pharmacists, healthcare facility administrators, and state, tribal, local, and territorial health departments of a supply disruption of peritoneal dialysis (PD) and intravenous (IV) solutions from the Baxter International’s North Cove facility in North Carolina, due to Hurricane Helene.
The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago published a clinical decision-making tool related to potential child abuse in children under 4 years of age. The tool is called TEN-4-FACESp. It notes if bruising in any of the three components (Regions, Infants, Patterns) is present without a reasonable explanation, the provider should strongly consider evaluating for child abuse and/or consulting with an expert in child abuse.
TEN-4-FACESp is a screening tool to improve the recognition of potentially abused children with bruising who require further evaluation. It is not a diagnosis of child abuse.
