Greetings, OCFE Partner.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has confirmed a case of measles in an Oakland County child associated with international travel. Measles is a highly contagious, vaccine-preventable disease that is spread by direct person-to-person contact, and through the air. As you’ll see in the recent press release, there isn’t concern for broad public exposure. But you may want to remind your constituents about the importance of being caught up on vaccines.
- Below is an important message from the State's Chief Medical Executive, Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian, to share with your congregation and community members.
Thanks for all you do to keep our communities safe and well.
