The Bureau of HIV & STI Programs (BHSP), in collaboration with its partners, is developing the Michigan Integrated Data Application for STI and HIV (MIDASH). Activity for the MIDASH project began in July 2023, and we anticipate project completion in Fall 2025.
We are excited about the new MIDASH system and its enhanced functionality and efficiency for both BHSP staff and our partners through a single access point. The available functionality includes:
- Client portal
- Access personal data
- Apply for services
- Update demographic information
- Custom reports across HIV Care and Prevention and STI
- Custom reports at your fingertips
- No need to compile data from multiple systems
- Real-time dashboards with live data
- Real-time feeds from multiple systems
- Instantly accessible data
- Mobile application
- Phone compatibility
- Tablet compatibility
- Data imports from Medicaid, Vital Records, Corrections, Communicable Diseases, etc.
- Universal eligibility portal
- One place to check eligibility for multiple services & programs
- E.g., Ryan White B and ADAP, Housing, Medicaid, WIC, etc.
- Streamlined, fully integrated security to protect access to sensitive information
The MIDASH project will use an iterative development approach, and we are excited to welcome you as partners in the development process. Over the coming weeks and months, BHSP will share information in various formats, including the MDHHS MIDASH page. If you would like to play an active role in the MIDASH development process, please let us know as soon as possible by contacting MDHHS-MIDASH@Michigan.gov.
We sincerely appreciate your willingness to contribute to the success of the MIDASH project.
