The LHD work plan has been updated to version 1.2. You can also find a copy on the MIHAN at Documents -> Local Health -> EPC General -> PHEP FY 2023-2024 BP5. The CRI-B activity was updated and also Activity 13 was updated. The specifics can be found in the Record of Change in the updated work plan.
The next administrator training for the MI Volunteer Registry will be Monday, July 24, from 10:00 am to Noon (ET) via Microsoft Teams. The link to join the meeting is on the agenda. This training is conducted quarterly, and it is required for new EPCs and local MI Volunteer Registry administrators who have not taken this training within the last three years.
Although organizations can develop plans, expand resources, and add personnel with expertise in responding to different threats and hazards, the planning process cannot move beyond the theoretical if exercises do not validate plans. Having the right equipment and personnel to respond to a critical incident may provide insight into what an organization’s response capabilities can accomplish.
