Dear Immunization Partners,

Please review the following COVID-19 vaccine update regarding Vaccine Finder inventory reporting. 

VACCINE FINDER INVENTORY REPORTING

CDC is requesting your assistance with updating your Vaccine Finder inventory to ensure community members have the most up to date information on where they can receive a COVID-19 vaccination. Please complete your inventory clean-up by close of business on October 21, 2022.

As a reminder, providers must report COVID-19 vaccine supply levels by close of business every Friday (weekly).

If you no longer have COVID-19 vaccine in inventory, please verify that your inventory balance in Vaccine Finder is zeroed out. If you have already zeroed out your inventory, there is no need to do this process again.

Pfizer and Moderna bivalent vaccines have been added to Vaccine Finder. If you have either of these vaccines in inventory, please update Vaccine Finder.

Many lots of monovalent vaccines have begun to expire or have recently expired. All Pfizer purple cap vaccine (original Pfizer formulation) has expired and as such, has been turned off in Vaccine Finder. Please confirm expired lots are no longer counted in your inventory on Vaccine Finder.

  • To change your site’s point of contact information for Vaccine Finder, please contact MDHHS-COVIDVaccineProviders@michigan.gov and include your site name, MCIR ID, and the email address for the new contact. Changes to your enrollment such as updating shipping hours, coordinator information, storage, etc. can be done directly in MCIR.
  • To create a Vaccine Finder account, please contact the Vaccine Finder Help Desk at vaccinefinder@castlighthealth.com.
  • To renew your MCIR agreement, please contact the regional coordinator for your county: MCIR Contact Regions.
  • For Vaccine Finder questions, please contact the CDC Help Desk at CARS_HelpDesk@cdc.gov or 1-833-748-1979 (M-F, 8am – 8pm EST).
