Good Afternoon Immunization Partners,
Pfizer has provided an updated delivery timeframe for their distribution of COVID-19 vaccine. Below you will find information summarizing this update. However, given the large volume of inventory in the field, MDHHS continues to encourage all COVID-19 providers to focus on administration of doses on hand.
Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine delivery timeframes have been modified from a 1-day window to a 3-day window (business days). We have updated our Shipping Timeframes handout to reflect these new expected delivery windows as shown below:

As a reminder, the timeframes are based on the day your order is processed by MDHHS (not the day the order was placed by the provider). For information on order status and determining when your order was processed by MDHHS, see this tip sheet.
These resources are also available at www.Michigan.gov/COVIDVaccineProvider, “Orders & Shipments”.
If you have questions, please contact checcimms@michigan.gov.
Thank you,
MDHHS Division of Immunization
