In Michigan, the Oceana County MRC received a $5,000 award.
A new federal COVID-19 testing program offered by U.S. HHS is prioritizing K-8 and public and private schools, underserved populations, and non-healthcare congregate settings such as homeless shelters. Battelle was selected to manage the Midwest Expanded Testing Coordination Hub, and NACCHO is supporting the project to ensure that local health departments (LHDs) are engaged in testing implementation. Please check out the blog post for more information about the program, see if you’re in an eligible state, and find out how to be connected to the implementation team in your jurisdiction.
