'MI Shot to Win' Sweepstakes
Get a shot today and register to be entered into
the $50,000 daily drawing
If you know Michiganders who may be waiting to get the vaccine, let them know that today is a good day to get their first dose. As part of the MI Shot to Win Sweepstakes, Michiganders 18 and older who receive their first dose by July 30 may be eligible to win $50,000 by entering the drawing.
How it works: If you get a shot today, July 14, and register to win by 11:59 p.m. on July 18 you will be eligible for the July 14 drawing. See official rules for full list of daily drawing registration deadlines.
The first $50,000 prize winners were announced this afternoon. If you missed it, you can watch it on the MDHHS Facebook page.
The deadline to register for the $1 million drawing is closed, but you have until August 3 to register for the $2 million drawing.
In addition, Michigan’s vaccine lottery will offer Michiganders between ages 12-17 the opportunity to win one of nine Scholarship Drawing prizes available. Each Scholarship Drawing prize consists of a four-year Michigan Education Trust (MET) charitable tuition contract (valued at $55,000) that may be used to pay for tuition and mandatory fees at a college or university in accordance with MET terms and conditions.
The sweepstakes began July 1 and ends on Aug. 3, 2021. Eligibility criteria for each of the drawings is at: www.MIShotToWin.com.
$50,000 daily drawings:
- Entry dates: July 1 – August 3
- Open to all eligible persons who got their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination on the date corresponding to the $50k Daily Drawing.
$2 million drawing:
- Entry dates: July 1 – August 3
- Open to all eligible persons who have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination between December 1, 2020 and July 30, 2021.
Scholarship drawing:
- Entry dates: July 1 – July 30
- Open to all eligible persons who have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination between December 1, 2020 and July 30, 2021.
Michigan’s sweepstakes giveaway is powered by Meijer in partnership with the Michigan Association of United Ways and the State of Michigan. The statewide vaccine lottery is supported by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Michigan Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Association of State Universities, Small Business Association of Michigan, Business Leaders for Michigan, the Protect Michigan Commission and many more organizations.
