Essential Worker Celebration and Vaccine Clinic To celebrate essential workers and all they've done throughout the pandemic, the Protect Michigan Commission and community partners are hosting a vaccine clinic and community celebration on Thursday, June 17 from 10 a.m. until noon at Mission Point of Detroit.  There will be a DJ, free food truck, and vaccines available, no appointment needed.

'Shots in Arms' Partnership Clinics

Today, in Kalamazoo, the Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association, Small Business Association of Michigan and PMC are hosting a clinic for hospitality and retail workers in the area. All who get vaccinated will each walk away with a $50 Visa gift card. Bell's Brewery, a clinic sponsor, will be offering an incentive of its own.

• June 15 from 3 - 6 p.m.
• Radisson Plaza Hotel, 100 W. Michigan, Kalamazoo
• Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer available

If you know of a local business who may want to offer their own incentives, let us know at protectmicommission@michigan.gov.

Note: The gift cards and all other incentives offered at the clinics are donated and not paid for with taxpayer money.

• Thursdays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Appointments available for anyone aged 12 and older

Detroit

• Saturdays, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

• Fellowship Chapel, 7707 W. Outer Drive

• Pfizer vaccine

• Monday through Friday from 2-6 p.m
• Samaritan Center Wellness Center, 5555 Conner Avenue in Detroit
• Open to anyone 16+, administering the Pfizer vaccine
