Greetings, 

If you haven't yet applied, the COVID Relief Facility application is open until December 15. Facilities that do not apply or are not approved for designation will be required to transfer all COVID-positive residents as soon as practicable.  Please reference MSA Policy 20-78 (attached below) for more details.

If you have not applied due to concern around meeting the minimum qualification criteria such as having a suitable COVID-designated area or dedicated staffing, we have created an FAQ (attached) to help clarify what is allowable for each item. If you still don't believe you qualify but are interested in receiving technical assistance to support your facility to reach the minimum qualification criteria, please email us at MDHHS-MSA-COVID19@michigan.gov.
