Dear COVID-19 Public Health Volunteers,
Thank you again for your eagerness to assist Michigan in the fight against COVID-19. We remain overwhelmed by the outpouring of support MDHHS has received. It’s a testament to how Michiganders pull together to get through tough times.
Given your interest, we wanted you to be among the first to know that many Local Health Departments are quickly staffing up to support Michigan’s ongoing COVID-19 response. Across the state, Local Health Departments are looking for qualified, talented public health professionals to help with case investigation, contact tracing, infection prevention, and other critical public health functions to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Many Local Health Departments are posting their jobs on the Michigan Association for Local Public Health’s job board, which can be found here: https://www.malph.org/resources/job-openings. For other opportunities, you can view a full list of Michigan’s 45 Local Health Departments here.
We hope you take a moment to review these opportunities and apply for roles that are a good fit. There’s no better way to stop the spread of COVID-19 than joining the teams of professionals working day in and day out to keep our communities safe and healthy.
