The COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread through other countries beyond China with South Korea, Iran, and Japan have community-wide spread of COVID-19. In Michigan, there are no confirmed cases. There have been 5 PUIs and all tested negative for COVID-19. CDC continues to emphasize that now is the time to make sure we are as prepared as possible to handle any COVID-19 cases that might come to Michigan. This includes the ability to implement isolation and quarantine either at home or at a designated facility if home quarantine is not an option.
