Reminders

The next hepatitis A sitrep is due to checcdeptcoor@michigan.gov on October 17, 2019. The next HAV statewide conference call will be Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 1:00 pm.

 

The Q1 IMATS drill must be completed by October 31, 2019. See Activity 17 (page 18) in the work plan.


EPIC Presentation on Responder Safety Now Available

On August 21, CDC’s Emergency Partners Information Connection (EPIC) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) provided a webinar on how to reduce risk from injuries, chemical exposures, environmental hazards, and psychological stressors as it relates to disasters. Planners can access the archived presentation, Disasters-Keeping Volunteers, Workers and Responders Safe, to prepare and inform disaster workers about staying safe and healthy while responding to urgent public health threats.
