The next systems training day for new EPCs will be on Tuesday, November 19 from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm at BETP (1001 Terminal Road, Lansing). This day of training will focus on the state systems EPCs use on a regular basis: MIHAN, MITRAIN, MI Volunteer Registry, Adobe Connect Pro, and 800 MHz radios. Contact Jim Koval at kovalj@michigan.gov if you wish to attend.
DEPR will be conducting two Special Pathogen Response Network (SPRN) exercises during this budget period: a table-top exercise in January of 2020 and a functional exercise in April of 2020. The Michigan Volunteer Registry team is hosting a MI Volunteer Registry Administrator training session for those interested in learning/ refining their Volunteer Registry skills. The training is October 18 at BETP from 9:00 am-11:00 am.
These training sessions will be held quarterly and in different areas of the state to accommodate those in other Regions. This training will target Administrators in Regions 1 and 3. If you are not in these regions but interested in attending, please contact the Registry team to find out when we will be in your area.
